1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Miah's Class SELFOB platform ("Platform") or submitting an enrolment application, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you are registering on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2 Use of the Platform

The Platform is provided by Miah's Class, 63 New Eskaton, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh. The Platform provides AI-powered English language learning tools, exercises, assessments, and course materials for enrolled students.

Access to paid content and features requires an active enrolment in a program. Some areas of the Platform (such as this page and the public website) are accessible without an account.

3 Account Registration

To access the learning Platform you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

One account per student. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions is prohibited.

4 Enrolment & Fees

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of completed registration and applicable fees. By enrolling you acknowledge:

• Fees are published on the Fees page and are subject to change with notice
• Promotional discounts (e.g., 30% registration offer) are applied at the time of enrolment and cannot be applied retrospectively
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by Bangladesh law or expressly stated otherwise in writing
• Class schedules are subject to availability; we will notify you of your confirmed schedule by email

5 Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including course materials, exercises, AI feedback models, UI design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Miah's Class Pte Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• You may access and use content solely for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or commercially exploit any Platform content without our prior written consent
• Student-submitted content (essays, answers) remains your property, but you grant us a limited licence to process it for feedback generation and platform improvement purposes

6 AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised feedback, model answers, and learning recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated feedback is educational guidance, not professional advice
• AI outputs may occasionally contain errors; human review by educators supplements AI feedback where material
• You should not rely solely on AI feedback for high-stakes decisions without independent verification
• We continually improve our AI systems and feedback may vary over time as models are updated

7 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems, or networks
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract Platform content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the Platform
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Bangladesh law or international law

Violation of acceptable use may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

8 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Bangladesh law.

9 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@miahsclass.com.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law) will remain in effect.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh, except where alternative dispute resolution is agreed between the parties.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.
