- Mixed Conditional uses simple past or past perfect after if based on the situations that are referred to.
- It is used to refer to an unreal present situation and its probable (but unreal) past result.
- Format 1: If + past perfect, would + infinitive (for present unreal consequence of a past unreal situation).
